Why we're building strength for the years ahead
When perimenopause arrived at 38, it sent founder Daisy Lyons on a personal health journey.
Seeing her grandmother experience a hip fracture changed how she thought about strength — and the years ahead. Her research into longevity kept bringing her back to the same thing: strength. It was no longer optional, but essential.
Between work, motherhood and living with endometriosis, the gym didn’t always fit. Weighted walking offered another way to bring resistance into her day, but the vests she found were bulky, uncomfortable and designed for men's bodies - not a bust.
With a background in fashion, Daisy couldn’t understand why something functional couldn’t also be stylish. When she found herself hiding her vest under a coat, she knew there had to be a better way.
